The 2013 Grand STuTZ Seabrook and the Keels & Wheels Concours are in the history book. 48 members and guests attended and 17 STuTZ cars were on display.
The club wants to thank the members that attended the events. We were glad to see the number of members that attended without displaying a car. One goal of this Grand STuTZ was to encourage members to attend for the social benefits as well as displaying a STuTZ car. The event drew members from around the country and from around the world. The member that traveled the furthest, flew in from Craigie, Western Australia. Countries represented were Australia, England, Sweden, and the USA. The states represented were Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Michigan, South Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Wisconsin. We also signed up seven new members.
The STuTZ cars on display represented the entire range of STuTZ era’s and engines. Spectators were treated to Bearcats and Blackhawks, Tourers and Roadsters, Speedsters and Boattails, Coupes, Convertibles, and Sedans, Bodies by Durham, LeBaron, Monte Carlo, and Lancefield, engines of 4, 6 and 8 cylinders, overhead valves, single and dual overhead cams, 2 and 4 valves. The display of STuTZ beauty and performance was spectacular.
